The Mulliner division will be celebrating Bentley's 100th anniversary next year with a Mulsanne special edition. It pays tribute to the company's founder, W.O. Bentley, and even contains the remains of one of his own cars.

The model is ordered as a regular Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. It was inspired by a 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. The 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. The influence of the car can be felt throughout the interior and even the Mulliner illuminated cocktail cabinet with a display window with an image of the original crankshaft from the 8 Litre that is displayed inside.

W.O. is emblazoned in the form of a B-shaped photoetched air vent on the chrome-colored application that runs through the back of the vehicle. The front grille is patterned in 1930s-style Onyx and there's an optional chrome application around the lower spoilers on the left and right. The front grille has a unique design, with chrome-colored shells replacing the body-colored mesh of Mulsanne. It also has the Flying B Logo.

The key box is made of Bentley wings and has the lining of black flock. Key pouches on their own can be bought to match or contrast the key master bentley box. The set commemorative includes an 1:18 scale model as well as the flying "B" paperweight. It also includes an unpublished booklet with never before seen images of the original Bentley 8 Litre.

Almost 400,000 stitches deliver Bentley's signature diamond-indiamond quilting throughout the entire cabin. In addition, the mood lighting can be altered to suit a range of different moods.

Outside illuminated treadplates and clocks in brushed silver are available as standard, and new 22in wheels come with self-levelling Bentley logos. Bentley's "Speed" series is a lot of fun in that it takes the Continental GT's exaggerated luxury and kicks it up to eleven.
