The IQ app offers some advanced mapping and automated features, however it does not have no-go zones. These are only available on iRobot robots. The smart-pathing technology allows for superior maneuverability and the high-pile mode of its carpet cleaning mode is very effective however it can be caught in rug tassels.

During our tests, the IQ was adept at handling pet hair effectively, clearing huge amounts of debris from floors with no flooring and moderate amounts from medium-pile carpet. It was less efficient with shag carpets. It struggled to get at dirt and dust that was embedded in the fibers. It did a decent job of maneuvering around chair legs and tight spaces, as well as the wooden base of an IKEA step stool. We did notice that it was a bit slower on floors with no flooring, but it regained speed and performed better than the other robots we tried.

The IQ is a more suitable option for most users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a bigger dustbin, a longer battery life and is more adept at navigating around obstacles. The eufy11S was successful in our tests of removing larger debris and fine dust from floors. However, it struggled to provide medium and high pile carpets a thorough clean. The device is capable of bumping into furniture and people in its path. However, it is able to detect obstacles with sensors. If it encounters them it halts and emits a loud beep so you can manually steer it around the obstacle and get back to work.

Another fantastic feature of the eufy11S is its BoostIQ mode that allows you to set the robot to automatically adjust its suction power to match the type of floor and the level of mess. It's also simple to use the remote to direct the 11S to where you want it to move.
