The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best affordable robot mop-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is in place you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button press. You can choose a general clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice claim, but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background and washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong like low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create or combine rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. That's a handy feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's a lot of items that need to be cleared out regularly, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It is able to even remove wet spills but I would suggest wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you can want. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot vacuum that mops known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade Robot cleaner and Mop.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. While these features are nice to have however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category and could mean it's slightly more expensive than the average homeowner require.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel has a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.
